Home sweet home!

At last, the move is done! I spent my first night in my new apartment last night and MAN is it ever nice. Three of my work friends helped me lug all my stuff over after work last night and they were amazed at the difference between the two places. Ted could hardly believe I'd lived in that hell hole for over 8 months. Poor guy though, at about 6 foot 4, he had to crouch down to get around in the new place. We did have a bit of trouble with my couch/futon. Gary and Ted had to take the whole thing apart to get it in the door. Guess I won't be moving out for a while cause I sure don't want to go through that again! But all in all, it was a good move, and it's nice to be in a newer, cleaner, safer home.

Since my cable won't be hooked up at my new apartment until Saturday, I was a little upset this week that I'd be missing Thursday night tv - the best night of the week! No Friends, no ER, and most importantly, no Survivor! But I just saw a headline scroll by on CNN and then read the prime time lineup sked on the wire and what to my amazement did I find? Survivor is a freaking flashback show tonight! What the hell is up with that? They're going to be recapping the show so far - who's in, who's out, that type of thing. How lame! Good thing I don't have cable, I'd probably end up throwing things at the tv!
