No more sleeps!!

Yay, it's Friday! Which means I get to go home! Woo hoo!! Yes, I'm very excited about it. I packed the car all up before I came to work this morning, so after work all I have to do is run home, grab the cat, and hit the road. I've found this is the most stress-free way to do it, especially for the poor kitty. Whenever I start loading up the car, he gets all nervous and hides under my bed or some other place where I can't get at him very easily. So this way, he freaks out and hides, I just go to work and he lets his guard down. Then when I come home from work, he gets all excited to see me, like he always does, I do a quick snatch and grab and we're off. He doesn't even know what hit him til we reach the 401.

Today at work feels very strange - like none of us are really treating it as a real work day. We're all goofing around, exchanging gifts and cards and basically just having fun. We had the first meeting of the Bea-Ver Announcers Guild, or BAG,(our fake union) which is driving the GM up the wall. He always gets his back up whenever anyone mentions unions. (Bea-Ver is the name of the company by the way - Bea-Ver Communications) We had pizza and drinks and some lovely squares made by one of the morning girls. Much fun.

Anyway, since it IS a real work day, I supposed I'd better get back to work.

I get to go home in 4 hours!!!
