Jan. 5th, 2002 10:05 pmJust finished watching Memento for the second time and I still love it. Your mind spins forever after it's over trying to put everything together. Jimmy knew him - how?? Was Teddy telling the truth? How could he have been? How could he have not? I love it :)
Now as my mind churns over the ins and outs of the movie, the turmoil at work is pretty much solved - as of the end of the month, I'm the new morning news announcer/co-host on CFCO. Yay for me! Now that it's pretty much settled, I'm feeling a lot better about it. Yeah, it'll be early, yeah I won't get to stay up past 9 on a weeknight, but hey, looks freaking awesome on the old resume that in less than a year at the stations, I've moved from doing weekends and basically being the station bitch to the highest rated morning show we've got. How cool is that? Plus it does come with a raise, thank god, I just don't know how much yet. The managers are all getting together on Tuesday to discuss the details, but Paul assured me more money will be forthcoming, much to the relief of my bank account :) Also, getting off work at noon means I'll be able to come home for weekends earlier, and I'll end up going to the gym more often cause there's no one there in the middle of the day. There's nothing I hate more than working out with a bunch of people around - I know they probably don't even notice I'm there, but I'd rather be alone any day.
