It's been a while...

So here I am in week 2 of the way early shift. I'm getting used to going to bed super early and getting up before some of my friends have even gone to bed - who woulda thought! I'm totally loving this shift though, despite the hours. I don't have nearly as much free time during my shift as I did on afternoons, but then again, I have ALL afternoon free ;) And I'd forgotten about all the lovely daytime shows - Days of our Lives, Y&R (course I'm totally lost on this one - what the hell happened to Nick and Sharron? Why is Lauren back?? So many questions.....), Crossing Over -- now if only my tv worked all the time. ;) I miss having afternoon gossip sessions with Lisa and Bonnie though. Oh well - the price you have to pay for fame, I guess ;)

"Dear Lady..."

He's back! My one and only fan...how I've missed him :) I got a new letter this morning - the first one I've got since before I moved over to CKSY in November. I kinda wondered if he died or something (rumour has it he's around 80 or so) cause I hadn't heard from him since I made the move back to CFCO. But this morning I found a new letter in my box with the familiar script. It's got the usual stuff - I make his day with my "Perfect Personality" (heh, obviously doesn't know me at all, does he...), he loves waking up to my happy good morning, I certainly seem to enjoy my job more than those people at Broadcast News, he's hard of hearing and my "beautiful voice" speaks every word clearly so even he can understand, etc. Then he went on about how he knows he goes a little off at times, but he just couldn't wait one more day without telling me how much I mean to him. Yikes! Well, nutty or not, he's my fan and I love it :)
