Timing is everything
Aug. 6th, 2002 05:53 amThe drive back to Chatham yesterday afternoon was lovely - not much traffic, kept up a pretty steady pace the entire way back, and the trip took just under three hours. But as I watched the 5:30 news on Global last night, I realized just how lucky I was. About 10-15 minutes after I went by, there was a crash in almost exactly the same spot where I got stuck the last time (between Kitchener and Drumbo), and this time, both the east and westbound lanes were closed for over 4 hours. Leaving sooner is definitely a better plan than later. And many thanks to Seamus for being found as quickly as he was!
