Feb. 20th, 2003 07:24 amDuring our first break this morning, George asked me what the timeline was for when a government calls an election and when they hold it. Off the top of my head, I had no idea. George said "Well, you news people act like you know everything, but I guess that's not the case this morning, is it?" I was so angry and taken off guard, I had no comeback.
Just a few moments ago, we were doing our third break, and talking about the weather. It's supposed to get up to 5/41 today and tomorrow, and George was talking about how nice it will be to get back to normal. I said "Well actually, we're far above normal right now - the norms for this time of year around here are -13 for the low, and -3 for the high - it is mid-February after all." He looked rather peeved and said "Are you sure? That doesn't sound right." And I said, feeling all superior again, "Well I may not know everything, George, but I sure seem to know more than you, don't I." Tee hee!
