Just got my first peek at today's forecast - the overnight low - -26. That's celsius, friends and neighbours...-9 in fahrenheit! What the ever loving christ is this crap?? Do I or do I not live in the tropics of Southwestern Ontario??
I just hope my car starts.

My elderly landlord has his girlfriend back. No more wailing and sobbing to Jesus to bring him the woman that was made for him, but now it's right back to square one. Seamus has taken to hiding under the futon again, I've taken to turning up my stereo to drown out the moaning. But on a positive note, he's going to New Orleans for the next two weeks.

Read this on the wire this morning:

Anti-terror police are telling the public to be alert after a security threat to the America's Cup sailing competition in New Zealand.
Today's public warning comes after postal workers seized letters containing cyanide crystals.
Police say some of the letters were addressed to the U-S Embassy and the British and Australian High Commissions in Wellington.
Police would not release details of the threat, but did say they related to ``actions'' that could occur at the sailing event if Iraq is attacked.

A) What the hell do they have against the America's Cup? Yes, it has the word America in it, but it's in New Zealand, and there aren't even Americans left in the race. Leave the poor Kiwis alone!
B) Heathy, watch out!!
