(no subject)

I got absolutely nothing productive done yesterday. I was planning on getting my health card and/or driver's license renewed, get some packing done. Did I do any of it, heck no. I did about two dozen Jaycee volunteer letters, and got those mailed off this morning. I suppose that was good, it needed to get done, but I'm becoming increasingly disillusioned about the Jaycees and anything I do for them I don't consider worthwhile anymore. At the very least it's not nearly as important as other things I have to do, like pack. Today I must pack. I have to be just about completely packed by the time I head for Toronto this weekend. I'm still not sure if I'm going on Friday after work or Saturday morning. I guess it depends on how much stuff I get boxed up this week.
Have I mentioned I hate moving?

To go or not to go

Do I drop Seamus off at my parents' place this weekend, or keep him here to endure the move.

Go home:
-spend at least part of the weekend away from Chatham
-Seamus will not have to be locked in a bathroom/closet for the duration of moving day on Monday
-Seamus loves my parents' place, and would thoroughly enjoy a week's vacation there
Stay here:
-more time to pack
-get to attend Kevin's going away party on Saturday night
-perhaps move some stuff over on Saturday before the party (like chairs, tables and such that would probably come in handy for the loads of people who will be in attendance)
-a week away from Seamus always leaves both of us lonely and slightly traumatized
