(no subject)

Many thanks to haggisthesecond, strangeanimal, rdcf, and zzrg for their birthday wishes. I did indeed have a great birthday. It was a weekend of birthday-licious fun - got together with the Laurier girls on Saturday for a joint birthday lunch/afternoon (four of us have May birthdays), spent most of Sunday hanging out with my dad, doing various errands and cruising around in the Miata (top down of course!), and yesterday (the official birthday - I'm like the Queen!) was full of family goodness and pressies. Had an easy drive back to Chatham, not really much traffic at all, despite it being the last day of the long weekend. Seamus is slowly getting adjusted to the new apartment - he gets spooked quite easily, but seems to be settling in. He does love all the windows!
