Jan. 8th, 2004 06:15 amAll is well on day 4 in Antigua. Day 4? Time's going by so quickly. The broadcasts are now going much smoother, all the problems have been fixed on the technical side, Shannon and I are getting along well - it's all good.
A few funny notes of interest - at dinner the other night, the waitress asked dad and I if we had any kids. I said "I am his kid" and she looked at us with one of those knowing "his kid....riiiiight" looks, but then we assured her that yes, he is my father, I am his daughter. She said "taking your daughter on a trip is very nice!" Dad said "oh no, she took me," and the woman was thrilled beyond words. She hugged me and said "Taking your FATHER to the Caribbean? You are a good girl!"
There are many MANY topless chicks on the beach, and as even my dad pointed out, most of whom should not be.
The pool boy has been hitting on me. It's funny, I told someone at work that I'd find myself a nice cabana boy when I got down here - now I've got the pool boy. He's always telling me I've got a beautiful smile, and is always coming up and hanging around while we do the show. He's cute, muscular...ahh, the joys of the beach.
