Moving SUCKS!

Heathy left around 3 yesterday afternoon, and we did get a lot of moving done, but there's still so much more to do it makes me cringe. I can't (or won't) pack up my kitchen stuff until probably Tuesday night cause I just might want to eat before I move. I've still got some clothes to take over, most of my bathroom stuff (but again, I'll need a lot of it in the next two days), and some odds and ends around the house. What a pain in the ass. Thankfully Gary, Ted and Lisa are coming over after work on Wednesday with Gary's truck to help me take the rest of my crap. I just hope we can manage a way to get my futon in! Damn those tight corners. I keep reminding myself that in just a few days it'll all be over with and then I can get on with my life, such as it is.
I made a major mistake last night and watched You've Got Mail. Why I insist on watching cheesy romance comedies is beyond me. They always get me all upset - life does not imitate art!! (Assuming you can classify chick flicks as art) I will not meet some guy on the internet and fall madly in love with him, he will not be some gorgeous guy who will in turn fall madly in love with me, and we most certainly will not live happily ever after!
