newschickFeeling a little crappy this morning. Apparently the cops are a little upset at a story I did yesterday and I've got a meeting with the chief later on. That should be fun. Aside from that I'm a little crampy and a little nauseated (I felt that way before I got to work - no direct link to the cops)
I was still giggling when I went to bed last night over a phone call I got earlier in the evening. This guy called up and asked if Jake was home, I said no he had the wrong number, he said 'huh...ok then' and hung up. Not two seconds later, the phone rang again and there was a very irate chick on the other end. Here's how the conversation went:
Me: Hello
Her: Where is Jake?
Me: You've got the wrong number.
Her: Where the fuck is Jake you little whore??
Me: You've got the wrong number.
Her: Put Jake on the fucking phone!
Me: What number do you think Jake is at?
Her: **2-****
Me: Well you called **1-****.
Her: Oh.
I'm almost done my latest book and I need some more summer reading. Anyone have any suggestions?
