One of our reporters just came back from covering the kickoff of Chatham-Kent's gay pride week. But none of the attendees would talk to her on tape because they're not 'out' yet. Isn't the whole point of gay pride to be proud of who you are?

On an almost-related note, I once watched a tv chat show here in London where someone said he had met his partner at "a music festival". Pressed as to which one, the guy blurted out "Um, Pride." Don't know whether he had just outed himself for the first time on national TV or not, but he took a lot of ribbing about the "music festival" bit. :)
