newschickHere I sit, at work on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, all dressed up, waiting to go to some stupid party I have no desire to attend. Our big boss man is having an open house for his 40th wedding anniversary today, and the more favoured staff have been invited to go. Since he agreed to give me that bigass raise a few weeks back, I feel more than a little obligated to go. How dull is this going to be? Should I slit my wrists now? Yes, I think I should.
