Friday the 13th!

Good old Friday the 13th - it's hit me a few times this morning. Of course, it's entirely possible that things just go wrong on a regular basis, but at least today I have something to blame them on besides me! Let's see, the station somehow got onto the wrong day's log overnight and Paul and I had to try to figure out how to fix it - us newsies don't understand these things. The printer jammed and I burned my hand trying to get the paper out, stubbed my toe trying to get into my booth on time to do the weather, and then (somehow) ran into a wall trying to get back to the newsroom to answer the phone. It's not my day!
As with any other day when I'm going back to Toronto, I'm all giddy. And as an added bonus, we get a free pizza lunch at work today because it's our promotions girl's last day. (not that her leaving is a bonus - she's really nice, but free food is always good)
I'm planning to meet up with my friends Marc and Elesha on Sunday for lunch - my big mistake was telling them I could meet them where ever they wanted to go. We're going to some place called Bert and Ernie's in the west end. Yeah, west end - there's a good idea. So I'll go from the east end to the west end for lunch, back to the east end after to have a quick nap and pick up my cat, then back west to head home. But exessive driving aside, I can't wait to see them - it's been over a year since we got together last and I miss them terribly
