I called Toyota and Midas yesterday to get some estimates on getting my wheel bearing fixed - both quoted me roughly the same price - around $270 including labour. But since the Midas folks said it could take a week at the very least to get the part in, they lose out on stealing all my cash. Toyota can squeeze me in tomorrow, which is fine. But when I got home from work, I got a call from Canadian Blood Services reminding me of my appointment to donate blood tomorrow afternoon - I'd completely forgotten, and now I'm not quite sure how to get there. Of course, the bus system in Chatham sucks major donkey ass, so that's out. Hopefully I'll be able to snag a station vehicle for a bit. But all I know is my car had better behave itself for a long time to come - I can't afford this!
