Back to basics

Our newsroom network computers are down this morning - brief moment of panic when Paul and I realized we'd have to do our entire morning runs off paper, catching audio clips off BN on the fly - basically stuff we haven't had to do in over a year and a half. But now that everyone's calmed down and got our shit together, it's kind of fun. Well, *I'm* finding it kind of fun - it's like camp! There's such a rush in ripping paper off the printer and making a mad dash for the booth. It's the way radio used to be in the good ol days....well, kinda...I really have no idea what I'm talking about, but still, I'm having fun.
Course the fun will no doubt end before too long and then it's back to panic mode.
