That didn't work. My former friend emailed me this morning and apparently she's perfectly happy to hold a grudge forever. It seems when we got into this thing last June, I tried to email my sister with the things Lily had written to me, with a few comments of my own attached (according to Lily, I called her a selfish immature bitch and said her mother obviously didn't teach her any manners) but instead of being sent to my sister, they got sent back to Lily. I was in an absolute rage at the time, so I can well imagine that I was just pressing random buttons or something and pressed reply instead of forward or something. Anyway, Lily seems to be still quite upset about my remarks and despite the many months that have passed, she is unwilling to forgive and forget. Oh well, so be it. It's too bad, she had been the best friend I'd ever had, but such is life.
