Doing a little bartering with one of my fellow newsies. She needs a futon, I've got a futon, but would like to get rid of it and get a real bed. Newsie girl wants to buy my old futon, which would then free me up to buy a bed. There's an Ikea bed I've had my eye on - it matches my dresser (also from Ikea, oddly enough) and doesn't need a box spring, which is good because I only have a mattress. I just found out you can buy Ikea stuff online and have it delivered. I'm in so much trouble....my poor battered credit card!!

now if only they guaranteed that *all* parts are in their appropriate boxes and did the assembling too.

Yeah....that's the thing. If there's something wrong with it or some part or other missing, I have to take it back to Toronto myself, which isn't really possible.
