Battered and bruised

Finally got around to getting my flu shot yesterday. No major side-effects, although my arm is kind of red and a bit swollen today, and hurts. I also gave blood this week. So I've got the swollen upper left arm from the flu shot, my right arm has the usual blood donation hole in it with a small bruise around it and a red welt where the bandaid came off, plus I've got a nice bruise around my left arm from where the blood pressure cuff was. Damn thing almost squeezed my arm right off! It's a good thing my sleeveless dress for tonight's Christmas party has a scarf!
