Took my car in this morning and now have it back for the night. They put a temporary rim on the wheel so I can drive it around, but tomorrow I have to take it back in first thing, and with any luck I'll have it back again by the end of the day. The guy said it hit the curb too hard to have a normal re-alignment done, and they have to do something called a strut grind instead. So with that, a new rim and cap, and labour, it's going to cost around $300 plus tax. Less than I expected once I realized something was actually wrong with my poor little TicTac, but a hell of a lot more than I first thought after just bumping the stupid curb.
