Dec. 31st, 2003 01:21 pmIt's been a while...
I got into Toronto on Christmas Eve afternoon, had dinner, went to see ROTK with Heathy and Marshall (it's become a Christmas Eve tradition for the three of us to go to a movie - usually the theatres are empty. Not the case this year - we got there 45 minutes early and were still stuck with second row seats)
Christmas Day was spent in the usual fashion with a Brady/Hill dinner. Much fun was had by all - my mother called my father a son of a bitch, which was extremely amusing. Hearing my sweet, proper, Baptist mother say bitch caused high hilarity for quite some time after the offensive word was uttered.
Boxing Day Mum, Heathy and I went to New Brunswick for my little 23 year old cousin's wedding. Many hours were spent at Pearson Airport waiting for the pilot to arrive, then for the ground crew, then for our spot in line. The wedding on Saturday was a lot of fun - Katy was, not surprisingly, a gorgeous bride, and her now-husband seems like a pretty good guy. We first met him in the summer at our other cousin's wedding.
Heathy and I came back to TO on Monday, Tuesday was spent with our much-removed Hill cousin, Kathy, and today I'm preparing to head back to Chatham. Matt's girlfriend is having a New Year's party - it was originally at our place, but her place is bigger and now I don't have to clean. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
Anyway, that's my little update. Now it's back to laundry, then I'm hitting the road. Happy New Year everyone!
oh yeah, and according to my mother's scale, I've gained 10 pounds over the holiday. Simply grand.

Date: 2003-12-31 02:36 pm (UTC)Rule #1 of weight loss/measurement. Never, ever weigh yourself on different scales. Always use the same scale, same time of day, same location for consistency.
I've been out by 15 pounds one scale to another.
