It's official

Matt informed me this morning he's moving out. No shock there. I barely see him more than once a week as it is, and that's usually at work. When I first moved in, he said he'd be living there for sure until May 2004, and he said he's got no real time frame aside from that, although if I can get a new roommate before then, it would obviously be good for him. Not quite sure what I'm going to do, but I'm not really stressed about it. I've been expecting this for a while now, and a few people at work have said they'd be interested in his room if he ever smartened up and left. But man...living with a real roommate again is going to be tough!

I have to say cool as some of my roomates were (not) it was a lot better without them :D

More privacy, no worrying about people defaulting on bills.

You knew a fair number of my roomates, everyone of them did.

But if you have to have a roomate get one who is never around :)

The thing is I don't want to have to move again, and single bedrooms in my building are almost as much as a two bedroom, and I can't afford that on my own.

Well I hung out with my first set of roomates and it was cool but there were so many it was hard to get everyone to pay their share if that makes sense :)

Mind you if it had all been flirty girl roomates I may not have minded so much

Matt's not a real roommate because he never comes home. He's been basically living with his girlfriend since before I moved in. He pays half the rent, but doesn't actually live there.

hahaha! I was that roommate for one year in college... paid my part of the rent, but spent most of my time @ the b/f's appt.
