Went shopping again - it's way too much fun now that I fit into smaller clothes. I got 2 t-shirts, 2 skirts and 2 pairs of shoes. The main reason for going shopping in the first place was to get an outfit to wear to church on Easter Sunday, but I went a little overboard once I got to the mall. Shopping hasn't been fun for me for years, so I think I'm due.
In other appearance changing news, I'm getting my hair done this afternoon. I'm still not quite sure what I'm having done exactly - I'm scheduled for a cut and colour. The roots from the colour I got before Christmas are insanely long and something must be done to correct the situation. Whatever I get done today has to still look good a month from now when Heathy and I make the big Georgia trip.

It's an amazing difference, isn't it, going shopping when you fit the clothes a lot better. I know when I lost weight before, I went from being studiously ignored by shop assistants to having them practically arm-wrestle over who was going to serve me. Now that I've regained the weight (note to self: must exercise more and stop going to the Savoy with visitors!), I usually shop at Marks and Spencer, which is blissfully self-serve.

Ahh, Marks and Spencer...how I miss that store! I have some cargo pants and a hooded sweatshirt I got there back in 93 or 94 when I was in university - I still wear them all the time but man I wish I could get some new stuff!

my sister and I both worked at M&S in Montreal... you can imagine how upset our whole family was when they closed all of their Canadian stores... :p

Stacie has dropped over 70 lbs since last August. She says she's never had so much fun clothes shopping!

i also really need to get more clothes - i have no skirts that fit and out of 3 pairs of pants, only one that i can wear to work (stoopid 'no jeans' policy :P), and i need to find a dress for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary coming up the beginning of may...

but i'm down 35.8lbs as of last night!
