Apr. 9th, 2002 04:37 amIt's gone...all gone...woe is me! Well, not ALL gone. As reported earlier, I got my hair cut yesterday. It's not that bad, but it is shorter than I wanted. Of course, whenever I get my hair cut, it's never quite as I imagine. I'm a little too easily persuaded in these matters though, and when the girl who does my hair got all excited about cutting it shorter, I just sort of let her do what she wanted. I mean, she is a professional, right? She should know what will look good and what won't? I'm sure once I get used to it, I'll like it a lot more. Right now it's just so weird not having my hair touching the back of my neck. It's about an inch or two above my jawline - shorter than I've had it in quite a while. Anyway, enough of my vain babbling.
In other news...I got an email from my old prof this morning about the Life After Seneca thingy next week. It seems there's going to be quite a crowd of us speaking - one other person from my class (my good buddy Dave Sole - he took the BJ stream focusing more on radio news, but ended up getting a producer job at CTV), a bunch of people I've never heard of, and a few Toronto people - Lisa Naccarado from CFRB, Roger Peterson from City, and my darling former internship supervisor, Kym Geddes. God I hated that woman. And my oh my wasn't the feeling mutual! The very first day I started, she told me a)never expect to get a job at her station and b)not to expect to get a job in Ontario, let alone Toronto for at least 10 years. Ok, I'm not in Toronto yet, but I'm on my way! So ha! ;) It'll be interesting to see her again anyway, see if she even remembers who I am.
