Aug. 26th, 2002 06:18 amMan it was hard getting up this morning! Of course it didn't help that I was out til after 9 last night. Bad me. When my alarm went off at 2:30 I wanted to cry. I could barely keep my eyes open in the shower. I made good and sure last night before going to bed that all my alarms were set and ready to scare the crap out of me, lest I sleep in on my first day back.
My first break with George this morning still has me giggling. The man is thicker than dirt. We were chatting about my trip and he said "So, Robyn's here, back from her vacation in Nova Scotia" "New Brunswick, George" "New Brunswick....right...but Anne of Green Gables, she's a Nova Scotia thing, right?" "PEI, George" "PEI...right...now Rita McNeil - she's from Nova Scotia, isn't she?" "Yes, George...she's from Cape Breton" "Cape Breton...but that's not Nova Scotia, is it?" "Yes it is, actually." No idea what his fixation with Nova Scotia is, but it makes me laugh.
