Mar. 10th, 2003 05:13 amAhh, Monday. So very glad to be up and at work....right right. Four more weeks til my vacation. Or is it three? Crap, it's too long regardless.
Jimmy Buffett night was fun - had a good turnout, lots of strange people. The promised free food and free drinks were conspicuously missing though. Imagine, having to PAY for drinks. Sheesh.
The Fair meeting on Friday was daunting. I'm in charge of manpower and although I was told it was one of the easier jobs, there's still a hell of a lot of work - very little of which I know how to go about doing. My parents have kindly volunteered to come down for the fair and help out, but seeing as most of the fair committee members tend to go out and booze it up each night after the fair closes (and often during the fair) I think it would be best if mum and dad kept their distance - especially mum.
Speaking of my mum, she's been pestering me to come home this coming weekend. It'd be nice to go, get away from Chatham for a few days, do some free laundry, and give Seamus a chance to frolic with his cousin cats. But Heathy's not there. What fun is home without Heathy?? Blah.
