Heathy called me last night! I was so very happy to hear from her. She's in Rotarua - a very stinky but neat place. They're heading over to the South Island on the 15th. My mum's worried that they won't have enough to do there for two weeks and will get bored, but I'm pretty sure they can find ways to amuse themselves - lots of mountains and such. Hell, I'd like to spend two weeks on the South Island too!
I think I may have caught yet another cold. About five people at work are sick with some form of ailment right now, including one girl with strep throat.
I bought a humidifier over the weekend - getting tired of waking up with a super sore throat and nose bleeds (lovely, isn't it). Seamus is freaking addicted to the damn thing. I don't think he's spent more than five minutes away from it in the last three days. When the tank empties a bit and all the little bubbles come up, he has a fit, jumping around and whacking the tank. He also seems quite fond of standing on the tank and letting the cool air blow over his face.
My mum called again last night - not only does she want me to come home this weekend, but next weekend too. There's some Mozart concert on the 21st that they've got tickets too, but my dad doesn't really want to go. I'd like to go, but two weekends in a row is too much for me, and Friday nights aren't really good for me - I'd be falling asleep half way through. Of course, if this cold doesn't go away by Thursday, I won't be going home this weekend anyway, so who knows.
Gee, this was an exciting post, wasn't it?
