Yay, Gary's back. Our sports guy has been in Florida the past week and a half, meaning I had to do sports and holy crap do I ever hate doing sports. Although I have got a few calls asking me to continue doing sports because people can understand me better (Gary tends to get this Super Sportsguy Voice every time you put a mic in front of his face), it's still no fun at all. Especially with all the trades yesterday, there's no way I could get through all those names today.
I'm feeling a tad jealous today. My friend Carla called me last night - she got a contract offer from Vox Talent ("Canada's foremost non-union voice over talent agency") I'm very happy for her - she's got one of the best voices I've ever heard, and totally deserves it. But...well...I want an agent too. Guess if I *really* want it, I can get off my ass and send them a demo.
