And another thing!
Jul. 29th, 2003 05:23 amI'm more than a little ticked off at my roommate this morning. He was home for a while yesterday, which was great. We hung out, chatted and such, and it was nice. Then around 7 there comes a knock at the door. He's invited a bunch of people over. Ok, no problem, although it would have been nice if he'd even mentioned it to me. Not that he has to ask my permission by any means, but a little warning would be nice, like 'hey, I hope you don't mind, but I invited the boys over for a few drinks' or something along those lines. A little courtesy, you know? They were all people I know from work, most of whom I get along with (stupid little bald bastard in my home...grrr), so I sat out and chatted with them. Then it's inching towards 9, I'm really tired and would like to go to bed. I say it's getting late and I'm going to turn in, and Matt mocks me! 'Oh, poor baby Robyn, has to get up early cause she's a big star on the morning show - waa waa waa.' Yes, I do have to get up early, so kiss my ass! The rest of the guys join in, telling me I have to stay up, it would be rude to leave (although if you ask me, it's rude to try and keep me up) They ordered pizza and had it out on the dining room table. Seamus jumps up to see what kind of treats are up there, I get up to go scoot him down, and Matt freaking screams at him "GET THE FUCK OFF THE TABLE YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING??" Matt's got some massive anger issues. I whacked him with a pillow as I walked by and told him to calm down, and he flipped out, yelling at me about how I've got to discipline my cat, if I don't, either I go or the cat goes, and went on about a five minute rant about how much trouble Seamus is, shedding all over the place, climbing on things (yes, he's a cat - they tend to do that) and on and on and on (of course, all of this in front of other people, which embarrassed the hell out of me.) Fine, he's not fond of cats, I've always known that. But Matt knew the day he met me I had a cat, he knew the cat would be coming with me when he practically BEGGED me to move in. It's a little late to complain about it now. And people wonder why I'm nervous about going away for the weekend and leaving Seamus behind!
