Ahh, the weekend
Sep. 13th, 2003 09:44 amIt was *so* nice to sleep in this morning. I think it takes a morning person (and by morning, I mean my 2:30 kind of morning) to truly appreciate weekends. Being able to sleep until 7 or later is a luxury beyond words.
Not much going on this weekend. I went to see "Matchstick Men" with my friend Mike last night, and absolutely loved it. Nicholas Cage is a genius. I wasn't overly surprised at the ending, but still found it very enjoyable.
I think today I'm going to do the dishes (or maybe tomorrow..) - more than half of them are Matt's, and while I can't recall him washing his own dishes once since I moved in, I don't trust him to wash them properly, so I might as well do them all myself. Sometimes having a roommate sucks. I also think I'm going to re-arrange my bedroom. It's time for a slight change. And somehow, I think the bedroom will come before the dishes. ;)
Oh yeah, Seamus isn't eating, and it worries me. The last few days I haven't had to refill his dish once (and I know beyond a doubt that Matt's not feeding him) and he doesn't seem to want to eat unless I stand there and watch him. I don't understand it. He'll go and sniff the food, pick up one piece and drop it on the floor, and if I even start to leave the room, he comes running after me. I gotta tell you, getting up at 3am on a Saturday (well, I was awake anyway...) and having to stand in the kitchen for even 5 minutes watching a cat eat isn't much fun at all. Something must be done.
