Deputy Prime Minister Anne McLellan has appointed former Ontario premier Bob Rae to the job of advising her on whether a public inquiry is needed into the Air India terrorist attack. Rae will review previous inquiry findings related to the bombing that killed 329 people aboard Air India fight 182. He is expected to speak with family members of the victims of the bombing, as well as government and other officials.


Let me get this straight - the government is having a review to find out if they should have a review?? It boggles the mind.

In upcoming news... the government sets up a private commission to study and report on why so much money appears to be spent on ineffectual private commissions.
