Gotta love parents!

I told my parents last night that I'd applied for a job at MoJo - Talk Radio for Guys. My mother in particular never fails to make me laugh while at the same time making me feel like a naughty little 6 year old. My father's response "MoJo? Kind of tacky, don't you think? But hey, it'd be nice to have you back in town." My mother's - "Oh Robyn....but they're so FILTHY! I don't think you should do it." She went on for a few minutes about how leaving Chatham would be a very bad idea, I'm not ready to move on, she thinks I should stay here for at least another year or so and then find a more 'respectable' station to work at. As my sister so wisely pointed out - she's not worried about me or my career, it's that she'll be absolutely mortified to tell her church friends where I work. Thanks for the support, mum!

Roby: Not to count chickens before they're hatched, but if you work there I really hope you'll get to meet their voiceover guy that does all their commercials and promo stuff (whatever you call it when they play a little thing that says "you're listening to MOJO radio...")

I've always wanted to know what he's like. He's also the Swiss Chalet, Wonderland, Harvey's, Future Shop, E*Trade, and Expedia guy. I've been wondering about him for years! He make a fortune doing all those commercials.

Well Heathy, I totally doubt he actually works at MoJo. It's like the guy we have here - he's just some faceless voice guy who sends us files with ads and promos and such. It's a contract thing, he's not in the building or anything like that. Hell, he's probably in the States.
