newschickBack to work for another week - but I'm very happy to see on the newsroom schedule this is my last full week before my vacation. Next Monday is the Civic holiday, and I don't have to work (yippee!), then the week after I'm only on for three days before heading off to New Brunswick for 10 days. Very exciting!
Big Sugar kicked ass on Friday night, but holy crap was it ever hot! Apparently the band has this rule that as soon as they hit the stage, the club has to turn off the air conditioning. I don't know if the a/c interferes with the sound or if they just like to see the audience suffer, but I was drenched in about a dozen layers of sweat by the time we left. But despite the heat and smokiness of the bar, it was a great night. Met a cute boy too ;)
