Wow, he can reach from the floor! Fidget has to get up on the seat, then stands with her paws on the rim, and drinks. Mario just won't go there... instead, she dips her paw in the water dish, and licks it off that way!
When I go away overnight, I always leave the toilet seat up, in case something ever happened. That way, they have a 2nd water source, as classy as it may be! :D
I saw a video yesterday - some family's water bills were insane and they had no idea why. Till the husband stayed home sick and continually heard the toilet flush. Turns out the cat was flushing it! They taped 3 full minutes of the cat flushing the toilet and watching it go down. It's really funny. At least your cat's only drinking from the toilet eh?
