newschick | On the road again...

Alas, the long weekend is almost over, and it's time to head back home. I'd been hoping to get away earlier rather than later in hopes of avoiding any major traffic problems on the 401, but it seems Seamus had a different schedule in mind. I've searched the house high and low and all points in between but cannot find him for the life of me. I took my bags and the recycling out about an hour ago and he's no doubt picked up on the fact that it's his turn next. Now aside from finding him, the only issue left to deal with is the garbage. About 75-80% of the other condo-owners have put out their garbage on the sidewalk today, in hopes of it being picked up. My mum told me not to do that as there will be no garbage pickup today because of the holiday. So the question is - do these other people know something I don't, or do I know something they don't? And of course, none of these people are out to ask. I guess I'll just do as my dad suggested and take the garbage, and as secretly as I can, dump it in one of the public garbage cans.
Ah hah, I hear little kitty footprints on the stairs...
