Clint Eastwood directs and stars in ``Blood Work'' which opens in theatres today.
Eastwood plays retired F-B-I agent Terry McCaleb.
Felled by a heart attack while pursuing a serial killer, McCaleb receives the transplanted heart of one of the victims.

What the hell did they do with the book, just pick and choose parts they like and mix them all up??

I know. I saw the preview, and I'm like, whaaaa? He already _knows_ who the killer is??
Also I think Clint is way too old to play McCaleb, who I thought was supposed to be late 30's or early 40's at the most.

I think he's a good match, I figured he was in his late 50s or early 60s. I was also pleasantly surprised to hear Jeff Daniels will be playing Buddy, the other boat guy. That's pretty much exactly as I pictured him.
Not sure if I even want to see the movie now though. While I'm sure it's a fine piece of film-making, it's looking to be NOTHING like the book.
