Well, I knew it would happen. I'm getting a cold. It was inevitable. My dad was sick over the weekend (although if I'd known that, I might have stayed in Chatham and avoided even the potential of getting it), and my boss has been fighting a cold/flu-like thing for the past few weeks, so I figured sooner or later, I'd catch something. I was really hoping it would pass me over - I've been cold-free for months and months, when usually I catch everything going.
Why oh why do I have to work in a career in which my voice is everything. If I'm even a little stuffed up, I sound like a moron. But when I get colds, I cough like a maniac, can't breathe right, and when I have to talk for 80% of my workday, my throat burns like a bitch.
I'm stocking up on vitamin C after work.
