Well my little housewarming gathering went off quite well Friday night. I had about 12 people or so in my little apartment. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, we all got nicely drunk, so a good time was had by all :) I'd say the one downside of the night was when Geoff (better known as Goff to those of us who don't like him) showed up, uninvited, at around quarter to one or so. He also brought a date - some chick he picked up at a bar who had to have been at least in her 40s. He sauntered in like he owned the place, didn't say hi or anything, grabbed the nearest bowl of chips and started shoveling them into his mouth like he hadn't eaten in months, complained that I didn't have any plain chips, dug around in my fridge for a while, then complained to me that I didn't have a very wide selection of pop. I wish to god I'd actually said this to him, but I thought to myself "ok, I handed out a sheet of paper with directions on it this afternoon to the people I wanted to come, and on that sheet it plainly said BYOB. But wait, you wouldn't have seen that since I DIDN'T INVITE YOU!" Then he proceeded to take two diet cokes from the fridge (again, without even asking) and went back into the living room. Is there any wonder I can't stand the guy?? I saw him again Saturday night when the station helped out with Operation Red Nose, and he didn't even speak to me - no thanks for having me over, I had a good time, you've got a nice place, and definitely no sorry I crashed your party, sorry I stole your pop, sorry I put a damper on your otherwise good evening... But hey, everyone else had a great time, and now we've got even more reason to make fun of Goff. :)

Hey... in regards to the chick he picked up in the bar, I thought you said he had a girlfriend (or is that a Goffriend?)
