I saw an interview yesterday with some members of the cast of Red Dragon. The interviewer chick asked Anthony Hopkins if he enjoyed playing Hannibal Lecter, he said oh yes, it's a great role to sink your teeth into, blah blah blah, and then she asked if he hoped to do a fourth Hannibal movie and he said 'well yes I would, but we'll just have to see what happens.'
Does no one understand the movies are based on the books? Can't very well do a fourth movie if there is no fourth book.

Yeah, but Thomas Harris seems inclined to write them new ones whenever they ask... the guy must be pretty hard up, which is difficult to imagine.

BTW, what ever happened to my copy of Hannibal? Do you still have it? Did you ever see the movie? I heard it was pretty terrible, which stands to reason since the book was so bad.

Wait, did he write Hannibal because they wanted to make the movie? That's retarded. Also explains why the book sucked.
