I just got a flu shot, my first flu shot ever, live on air. It hurt. Why do people keep telling me I'm too old to get a sucker after having a shot??

Well it kind of defeats the purpose if I have to buy them myself - they're supposed to make me feel better!!!

We mentioned it a few times - well, George mentioned it (it's unbelievable how much he's changed - we get along so well now!) but no one felt sorry for me.

Hey cool, I had my first one too last week. It didn't hurt that much but my arm had a swollen spot on it for a day or so.

Mine stung like hell and I got super dizzy during my newscast (note for next year, don't get a flu shot two minutes before doing a newscast!) I've still got a bit of a headache and my arm's kind of achy.
