Just call me Barbabelle

Self esteem hit an all time low this week. Well ok, not an all time low, but it took a nose dive, that's for sure. A friend of mine at work were talking yesterday, I mentioned that he looks kind of like those claymation people like in Wallace and Grommit or Chicken Run - prominent dark eyebrows, deep set eyes, and then he said to me "Oh yeah? Well....you look like a Barbapapa!!" and stormed out of the room. A Barbapapa!! I told him today both I and my friend Arlene thought that was really pretty insulting and he said "Yeah well...truth hurts, doesn't it." Very nice...I know I'm a big fat blob, but there's no need to throw it in my face!
On a less depressive note, I tried on my outfit for the Christmas party last night and found it's looser than it used to be. Yay for me.
