Just got off the phone with the xray folks at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - bunch of dipshits. I'm taking next Monday off so I can go see my own family doctor at home and get him to have a peek at my hand, which simply isn't getting any better. I don't trust the doctors here. When I went to the walk-in clinic the guy treated me like I was a insignificant street rat taking up his precious time, and rushed me out of there as quickly as he could. So I'm going to my own doctor, who likes me. Anyway, I called the xray people to see if I could either pick up my films and take them home with me or if they could send them off to him in time for my appointment. The chick said they can't send them out right now because they still haven't been seen by a doctor at the hospital. Funny, since when I left yesterday, they said there's nothing really wrong, just to keep my hand iced and wrapped until it feels better. So I asked if they'd be able to get it out soon since my appointment is less than a week away, and she said "well, we'll try our best." And people wonder why I'm afraid of doctors around here!
