newschickOnly a few hours left of 2001. Well...eight. Four hours til my delightful party starts :) I'm really looking forward to it, although not so much to the cleanup tomorrow! Or having to go to work either, but hey, such is life.
I've never been one for new year's resolutions, but I think I'm going to hop on the bandwagon this year. I resolve to lose 20 pounds before my dad's birthday in August. I've already got a gym membership - it's just a matter of going on a more regular basis! Everyone always say the key to losing weight is to have a goal date, and having some sort of incentive supposedly helps. My family is apparently having a big bash for my dad's 60th, so I want to look better the next time the whole family gets together. I know it sounds horribly vain, but I want to hear someone say something about me other than "Well Robyn, you look....healthy" especially when I know damn well 'healthy' means well fed. Plus I hate looking at pictures of me and my friends and think, as my sister so eloquently put it "hey, there's Roby and two skinny girls"
