My hand is much improved over last week, and I've gone the past few days without it all bandaged up. It's still a little sore, but nothing like it was. So what am I doing today to celebrate? I'm playing sledge hockey! As part of the media team, I am going to be strapped sitting down on some sort of plank with skates, drag myself along the ice with a couple of picks or something and play hockey as though my life depended on it. Will this hurt my hand again? Most likely. Am I far too out of shape to be subjecting myself to this? No doubt about it. Am I going to do it anyway? You bet your ass!
