George and I just finished our first break, and of course talked about the looming US deadline for Iraq. George mentioned Saddam had a rally of some sort last night, and wore his military uniform which he hasn't had on since 1991. The first thing to pop into my head and instantaneously out of my mouth: "Wow, and it still fits!" Much frivolity ensued, with talk of how well Saddam's taken care of himself, etc. I just know there's some cranky old CFCO listener out there in radio land who's taken great offence to our making light of a very serious situation, and will have no qualms about letting us know we're going to hell.
Bring it on - we're funny :)
