Wow...

Carl, the big boss man, station owner, General Manager and normally all round bad-guy, just came into the newsroom and did something completely unprecedented. He gave me a compliment! And not just any compliment...he said I was doing an absolutely fantastic job, and that his friends can't stop talking about how much they love listening to me in the mornings. Not the morning show in general, but ME! Carl has never EVER told a news person they're doing an ok job, let alone an absolutely fantastic job. Think now's a good time to hit him up for a raise? ;)
