I am very sad today. I killed my car. I was driving home from work yesterday, was coming up to a red light, stepped on the break, absolutely nothing happened and I rammed into the car ahead of me. VERY thankfully, the woman in the car and her son are fine. Not sure what the damage was to her car, but mine is a write-off. I hurt, I have no car, and I feel like shit.
Blah.

Double blah

I just got back from the yard where my car is. I said to the woman in reception that I believed they had my car, a Corolla that had been banged up, and the guy beside her said "Oooooh, the blue one?" and they both cringed. Yes, the blue one. The mucked up horribly smushed blue one. The woman said "Honey, don't just grab a few things - take everything. You won't be driving that car again, I can guarantee it." I pretty much knew that, but it sure didn't make me feel any better. So one of the guys came back with me with a couple of boxes, we unloaded all my crap (which was quite a bit), and I said goodbye to my poor little car for the last time. It was a very sad moment. My poor baby car.
