Jan. 28th, 2003 06:13 amI read a story on the wire this morning about how a war in Iraq will send oil prices up even higher than they are now and I thought 'crap, prices are probably going to jump up today - I should go fill up....oh wait, don't have a car.' Duh.
My friend Jessica and I have been tossing around the idea of finding a house together, and we found this really cute 2-story, three bedroom house just around the corner from where I'm living now. We haven't had a chance to look inside yet, but Jess knows the guy who's living there now, so we'll probably stop by this afternoon. From the sounds of it, it'd be perfect. But yesterday, she asked another girl we work with to move in with us as well. Yes, it would make things a lot cheaper if there were three of us splitting the expenses instead of two, but I don't know if I can do it. I've lived on my own for a while now and I'm a fairly private person. Living with one person would be a change, but dealable. Two people is a different story. It'd be more crowded, it'd be noisier at night (man I sound like a crabby old bitch), there wouldn't be a guest room for my family to stay in when they visit... We'll just have to see how it goes.
